2024 Art on the Vine Fundraiser

RSVP NOW FOR “POP ART”;
GREAT FUN AT THE FUNDRAISER

The amazing array of buffet food – including seafood, charcuterie, vegetarian options, beef brisket, fruit, chicken, turkey, barbecue pork, and a Pittsburgh cookie table – is just the beginning of the enjoyment in store at the Greensburg Art Center’s annual fundraiser, Friday, April 26, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Built on a theme of “POP ART,” this special evening also will feature wine pairings by Greendance Winery; live music by Zen Strings duo Micah Nagel and Jim Relja; fun photo ops with POP art by Warhol, Lichtenstein, and Haring; a silent auction that includes work by local artists; a chance to get your caricature done; a balloon artist; and a hand-painted POP art wine glass to take home.
The event will be held at the Art Center, 230 Todd School Road, Greensburg. Reservations can be made online at greensburgartcenter.org, or by mail or in person in care of Greensburg Art Center; Cost is $50 per person.
Proceeds support the work of the all-volunteer Greensburg Art Center, which is celebrating its 95th year of encouraging the visual arts in our community.
The Greensburg Art Center is open to all accomplished and aspiring artists. It offers classes in a wide variety of mediums, special workshops, exhibits, and museum tours. In addition to the Center’s gallery space, it offers an outdoor sculpture garden, a lending library of art books, and a gid shop of handmade art works. One of the Greensburg Art Center’s ongoing public outreach efforts is “Picture This,” a series of local artist exhibits at the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library. Greendance Winery is an award-winning winery on a 120-acre working farm in Westmoreland County.
Zen Strings is a music collective from Pittsburgh, performing versatile and unique interpretations of classics from The Beatles, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, and others.
