Short Bio: Tina earned a designation of ARC Associate Living Master from the Art Renewal Center and a Master Artist designation from the National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society. In addition to recognitions by the Portrait Society of America, Oil Painters of America and National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society, Tina is a two-time ARC Salon Award winner including 2016 and 2015 ARC Salon Purchase Awards for her works, “City Blues” and “String of Pearls”. Both paintings are now part of the Art Renewal Center’s permanent collection.
- Artists of all skill levels are welcome to participate in this comprehensive study of oil painting starting methods including open grisaille, line and value block in and Tina’s favorite, selective start.
- Tina will discuss painting from photographs vs. painting from life, understanding form, value, temperature, edges and composition as well as color mixing, posing the model and insights on lighting and painting materials.
- Tina will demonstrate from the live model each morning and assist artists individually each afternoon.
