THINKING AHEAD AT GAC
The officers of Greenburg Art Club are responsible for guiding the Art Center to remain a welcoming
and nurturing place for artists of all ages and abilities. The 2 year terms for the present officers will expire at the end of 2020. In October, a slate of candidates will be presented to the club at the General Membership Meeting.  After a month for review, in November the membership will vote on a candidate for each office. The new officers will take charge January 1, 2021.
To begin this process, all 300+ members of Greensburg Art Club are invited to nominate themselves or other members they feel would be responsible candidates for any of the offices. Contact Shirleah Kelly (412-915-0301, shirleah1@aol.com) or Pat Majcher (724-244-6584, mar1186@omcast.net).

Another pressing matter is the need for monitors at the center.
Monitors manage the center, answer the phone, greet visitors, process sales of art works and more. They are scheduled for 1-3 times a month, either 10-1:00 or 1-4:00 or Thursday evening. The center couldn’t be open without these valuable volunteers. Call Shirleah at 412-915-0301 or Pat 724-244-6584 to become a monitor.
PERK;  POINTS earned monitoring can be applied to class and workshop tuition.
Another very important need: Monitor Manager.
This is someone who would schedule the volunteers and take responsibility for finding substitutes when necessary. Alice O’Brien has done this job for years and is retiring. Alice would be happy to help anyone who is willing to take over. Call Shirleah, Pat or Alice if you are interested in this “work from home” job.
